Hobby Lobby had tulle half off so I bought some on a whim and made my kiddo a princess tutu!

Here's a how-to since I took pictures as I made it.

First - sew together a piece of elastic the size of your kid (or yourself).
Then cut equal strips from your roll of half-off tulle. I used up the whole 25 yards, but I think mine would look better with even more. If your waist size is going to be bigger than a 3 year old, get two rolls
Then you tie each strip to the elastic in the way I pictured.. I hope the pictures show you how because I'm not sure how to explain it<p>
Continue around untill you've got a pretty tutu!

It'd also be cool to add several colors or ribbons.. but I was lazy tonight and wanted instant satisfaction so I whipped this up in 15 mins.

Yay for dress up clothes -- especially tu-tus! Great job.

I always thought it would be impossible to be unhappy while wearing a tu tu, wouldn't it?  Cheesy

I'd say about 12 inches.. I just held it up to my daughter to see how long it should be and started cutting
