I LOVE this!!!  Love the pattern and the color of the yarn.  Makes me want to learn how to crochet.

How long did it take?

I'm not exactly sure   Probably no more than a few whole days, total.
I started working on it over Thanksgiving, quit for a bit, worked on it for an hour or two at a time for a while, and finished around the 15th of December. The lace works up pretty quickly once you get the pattern down.

I'll tell yall, this pattern works up damn fast!  I am by no means a fast crocheter and I made two of them in four or five nights.  As long as you pay attention during the flower-mesh rows, you're sound as a pound!

oh wow, this is simply precious!  Love the colours, love the lacey bits, love it all!  I'm a complete novice when it comes to crocheting, but someday I hope to make something as gorgeous as this!

I am really in love with the colours and they really suit the pattern. (They make me think FIESTA!)
I am majorly tempted to run myself on down to the yarn store... if I didn't already have too many projects on the go to the point my fiance aught to beat me.

I made this using a varigated merino wool from Pattons.  Thanks for the inspiration, I can't wait until I get a chance to wear it.  It's so pretty!
