I've eyed that yarn in the store, but you can never tell from just looking how a variegated yarn will turn out... your capelet looks simply amazing, and I can't wait to try the yarn and the pattern!

The one in the book is pretty gross. I first saw a completed version on ravelry & said to myself "I need to make that"...if I saw the book photo first I would've said ewwww. Makes me wonder how many other book patterns might not have to be so eww!
