(and no, I can not say "sherbet" or "sorbet," my 4-year-old self violently protests.)

I made this for my great aunt. She's in her 80s, extremely lively, and still square dances every week, so I wanted to make her something cute to wear for her dances.

I used Patons SWS and am now in love with both the yarn and the pattern...I'm going to make an olive green one for myself as soon as this Xmas slop is done.
Here's the pattern too! http://www.interweave.com/knit/books/Wrap_Style/chanson_crochet.pdf
It's quick. It does get a little confusing where the "flower" stitches start, but I understood it after frogging a couple rows about 3 times Wink It's definitely pretty enough to be worth the hassle!

Thanks for looking!! Cheesy

Wow. I really, really love this. I think you're aunt will look lovely in it. The colors are so beautiful. I too like that yarn.

Oh it's so pretty...I've been eyeing the pattern too but I'm also not sure if I'm up to the challange.
