I just made up 16 jars of layered butterscotch blondie mix for my office Christmas gifts.  It's so easy and so good.

I found cute jars at the dollar store and layered the mix in like this..

1 cup bisquick
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup butterscotch morsels
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 cup bisquick

The results:

I made a little tag with the instructions that I've attached with some twine..

Do you think these are an okay sort of present?  My office is mostly women and they all love to cook.  We have three men, but I had planned on giving these to them too.

**Update**

Here is a jar with the tag tied on with red and white twine (I love this stuff).. and I made a couple of batches to take to work so that folks could sample the goods.

I think it's a great gift idea! If I had time to go to the store before work tomorrow I would make some up for the ladies I work with! It's so easy and sounds so delicious. Fantastic job!

I think it is great that you chose something that is not "fussy" - bar cookies are so easy that even my husband will do them (he won't deal with any cut, drop, rolled, etc. cookies because they are too much messing around.
