This is such a neat (in more ways than one) idea! My ribbon is all tossed into a box, and I can never find it when I want it. I love how the ribbon is visible and accessible. Thanks so much for sharing!

ooooh i will be making one of these.

do you think it could be modified/small enough dowels exist to make one for spools of thread?

Probably, but those would need to be REALLY skinny dowels... I haven't measured the center of the thread spools though.

Yeah, I made 4 and think I need more! Cheesy

They're just so wonderfully .....ORDERLY!

It's SO much easier to create when the spaces around me are clear and I can SEE my options...

This is a really good idea!!  I don't have a lot of ribbon, but I can appreciate innovation wherever I see it.  And I really <3 your Converse. Grin

Thanks guys.  It's such an inexpensive and cool way to do it, and really looks great (IMO, of course!)

Thanks!  The Chucks were my daughter's first pair, and then my son wore them this summer; they are too cute to not see everyday.  That little ledge holds a few silly things for inspiration when I sew.

There isn't much more there, that's just my sewing nook.  I do all the rest (painting, ATCs, etc.) in the kitchen nook. Smiley
