My first try at felt applique. Not bad if I say so myself. My picky 19 year old daughter will carry it, so that says something.  Wink The black/red check flannel is also the interior.

Wow!  I wish my first try at applique had come out that well!  I can see why your daughter likes it so!  Grin

Hey that looks so great!  Is the scotty dog a patch or is it felt too?  My mother in law is crazy for scotties!

The scotty is indeed felt. I have the applique pattern if you would like.

Here ya go Elby.....you should be able to resize if needed. Would be so cute on a pillow, a scarf, just about anything. I have been looking for a similar pattern with a Dachshund sillouhette (spelling?). If anyone out there knows where I might find one, I would greatly appreciate it.

Shocked Your first try at appliques?!  They look great, I absolutely love the Scotty.  I'm a 19 year old  and I would definitely carry that around with me.
