Fridge-Scrabble for Christmas

Hi everyone,

My husband is Scrabble-mad, but was complaining we never get through a whole game the other day so today I made him Fridge Scrabble so we can spread a game out over time. It only cost $20, I can't wait to show him, but for the next week I will have to settle for sharing with craftster until Santa comes.

I have hundreds of letters left over from our wedding (I got them on eBay and used them for name tags) I took our scrabble board to the copy shop and had it copied and laminated. Then I glued magnets to the back of each one. I also used the magnet paper to print a set of numbers we can use to keep score and name tags for our scores.

Awesome idea   I also approve of Scrabble games where you get to see everyone's letters.

My dh and I play chess, and he loves to drink, So I bought him a shot glass chess set. But I sometimes get fed up with a game and dont want to finish. But I dont think shotglass chess is a good one for the fridge!

I'm in Australia so I went to Officeworks Print Center (kinda like Kinkos, but in a stationary warehouse). It was only $3.60 for the photocoping, it fits onto an A3, and $3.45 for laminating, and $9.95 for the magnetic paper - but it wasn't really strong enough to hold the letters through the board, so I ended up cutting up those free promo magnets real estate agents etc letterbox drop, which would make that part free!
