Mine is called "Fabric Medium" by Plaid and it also says Apple Barrel Colors, so it is probably by all the little 2 oz. bottles of acrylic paint.  Good Luck.

It also goes by "Textile Medium" and at Wal-Mart, it's in the craft section with all the other acrylic paints.  It's kind of a whitish/clear color (but doesn't change the color of paint when you mix it in).

so using the additive makes the acrylic just as good as fabric paint? it won't peel more or crack or anything?

I went to Michael's today and couldn't find it either. If you do track it down, will you be so kinda as to post where you found it?

i went to walmart today and found it there. fortunately i got the last bottle and unfortunately, i don't think it's going to be enough for all the projects i wanna do Sad but i believe it was less than 2 dollars for a 2 oz bottle. the brand i found was folk art by plaid and it's called textile medium. good luck! thanks for all of your help by the way guys.

Would plain water work? Maybe with some fabric glue?

I know watered down acrylics will stay on clothing when it's accidentally spashed on.

I've found Plaid's textile medium at Michaels, in the aisle with Modge Podge and various other decoupage supplies.  At the store I go to, this is the aisle next to the acrylic paint aisle.

yep i found it at michaels today. its a bigger bottle for under 3 bucks i think. HOWEVER, if you're going to go buy acrylic paint, i suggest going to walmart. michaels had apple barrel paint for 79 cents where as wal-mart has the same exact brand for 44 cents! you can almost get two bottles for the price of michaels. i always knew there was a reason i liked wal-mart Smiley
