I am not obsessed with Perty Thangs, I am disciplined...

I have alot to share, all you gotta do is ask.

I have this book, too! It's awesome. Every time I see that pattern, I get scared and a little dizzy. I think you did a great job interperting the pattern. I don't read Japanese either, but all of the pictures help!

Thanks for the compliments!
I find A LOT of these Japanese patterns are daunting at first glance, but once you get started on them you can start to see the pattern forming!

Have you made the beaded heart from the book yet?  That's the one I really want to make, but it requires A LOT of Crystals!!!  Undecided

Here's the link to the auction I won for the book: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120188933536, The seller has actually posted some of the tutorials, including this one!!!)

I haven't made the heart, but the ladies from my local bead stores called it the "heart from hell". I guess it's a little difficult. I'd love to see it if you ever get a chance to make it!

Alright!  You have kicked me in the @ss!  I'm going to attempt the heart tomorrow!  (I thought the directions in the book show off the method very well actually!  I guess I'll try it and let you know!  Cheesy)

Thanks!  It's quite big and heavy... it might work better as a keychain, then jewellery Wink

I found this tutorial on how to make the puffy heart with the weaving technique and it is in English.  Here is the link:
