I bought some new weaving books off Ebay and this is one design I had the right beads to finish... it's a beaded drop pendant.
(Unfortunately the books are in Japanese text, but the images are fabulous, and I was able to figure out most of the directions from them!)
Here's the link to the auction for the book: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120188933536, it actually contains some of the tutorials, including this one!!!)

It kinda looks vintage a bit, since I used some frosted crystals.  I love it!  Cheesy

Gorgeous!  I love the style and the colors.

Thanks for the compliments!  It was rather hard for me to get the colors so random, but somehow I managed!  Smiley
Glad you like it!

beautiful! I agree: very vintage-y looking.

(when you say it was hard to get it to be random: are you like me who has a hard time not picking out the order things are going to go in?)

Well, if you saw this pattern, it actually made the randomness happen on it's own!  You are beading in circles...
(... Because I couldn't help myself but pick up the beads one color after the other in orderUndecided )
If you look close, you can see that I have used 5 different colors of crystals in this pendant.

I know... I think it's funny how some people can just go wild with "randomness" and others (like ME) like to stay within "the box".  LOL  Cheesy

LOVE this.

Would a tutorial be way too much to ask? I'd love to make this.

I will try my best to create a tutorial.  The original design I got from a Japanese Bead weaving book, and it was all done step by step using photos... I don't think it's fair to just post a scan of the pages in the book, so I will try to recreate it!
