Wow! this is a great piece of modern embroidery.
What was your process for creating this? Did you sketch the image before hand or just went to it?  How long did it take you to o the completed project?

Ach! This is completely gorgeous. It really does look like a painting...But the fact that it is sewn makes it all the more compelling. Great work!

The image was something I had sketched out earilier for no real reason, then I roughly traced it onto the fabric--it's very thin fabric. It probably took me about 15-20 hours, I did it mostly at work, since I sit around there a lot. I'm working on another one right now.
