sooo.....i stopped knitting a few yrs ago out of shear laziness and decided to pick it back up. (plus i recently moved and have a whooooole lotta yarn just sitting there and the weather here is freezing!) anywho...decided to make this for a friend's bday. *edited to add:: she loved it Grin*

the pattern is on their website and uses 2 skeins of thick & quick. its really simple and a nice way to practice cables  Smiley
ooh...and im not a fan of tassels so i put pom-poms at the ends of the cables instead

Cute hat! I really like the combination of garter st with the cable.  It looks really warm and cosy too

my best friend said the same thing when i sent her the pics Cheesy. just so happened i had a dummy head from my wanting to do cosmotology phase....
