In Therese Laskey's book, Softies Simple Instructions for 25 Plush Pals, there is a pattern I just adore.

It's Alicia Paulson (Posie Gets Cozy) for her Paperdoll Dress.

I made one that I stuffed (not pictured here), then I made two un-stuffed varieties.

They are the neatest non-holiday ornaments ever. Although I think Christmas ones would be cool.

Love the colours on this one.

This one's totally Ice Princess, no?

The patten is super-fun to customise too!

Those are too cute!  Do you have any pics of the one you stuffed?  I would like to see it.

OMG, I would kill to see your goth version!!!!

The stuffed one is on my blog. I'm at work right now and can't access photos from my blog (don't ask me why) so I can't attach it here. But you can see it at: http://nastywench.blogspot.com/2007/12/paperdoll-dress.html

Thank you for the link!  I just spent about twenty minutes, first looking at that dress, then going to the page you had linked and poking around there.  Grin  I might need to buy that book!  Gee, hubby will love that!

Thanks!

The other projects in the book are a lot more "indie" looking. The Paperdoll Dress is very different than the other designs.

Did you make the clothes hangers yourself?  Are they paperclips?

These are really adorable.

I would have loved to see the goth version too.  Maybe next time.  Wink
