Okay, so the wedding is going to be December 20th, 2008. We were going to have it at our church, but they won't let us schedule a wedding for December  Undecided and I have already started getting decorations, etc. together for that day, so it ain't changing.

Now what I need are some good ideas for a wedding venue in Knoxville (or around). Probably going to have around 100-150 people, so I need something sort-of big.

Let me know of any good ideas yall have! Thanks!

Well, we got married at the captain's club at McGhee Tyson.  Its on the airbase there, and its pretty neat because they do all the catering there for you (you pick what you want) and their food was pretty good too.

Before we made up our mind, we considered Rothchild's on K-pike.  They also do all the catering there for you.  You could see about that huge, beautiful catholic church that is downtown and see if they wouldn't mind you using their building.  Since its a saturday, they may not mind. OH -- you could check with the LeConte Club -- its the top floor of the First Tennessee building downtown. 26th story up -- and it has the MOST AMAZING VIEW.  All around, you can see the next county over.  Its really quite amazing.  And their food is quite amazing as well.  They also have a bar if your guests will be drinking.  Just do a google search for leconte club knoxville and it should come up.

Good luck with the wedding!!
