I found these wooden magnetic trains in the dollar bin at Target.  My husband drilled holes in them slightly bigger than a crayon.  Then I just popped the crayons in.  They are a little crooked, but I think it looks great.  This is a Christmas gift for my cousin's 2 year old son.

That is brillant! I didn't buy any of those trains because they are too big for my son't existing set, but he would love them as crayon holders and I could do a matching set for my also train crazed nephew. I hope that they are still at target.
