I need to make a clip on bow tie for a 2 year old.  I can figure out the bow part but what about the clip? Can you buy the clips some where?

Yes but not as easily found as they used to be. Your easiest way if you only need one is to hit a thrift store & canabalize an old clip on bowtie. They do come in adult & child sizes, although if you pick up a really old bow tie the clips on some 40's & 50's era adult ones are pretty small.

Clip on bow ties are actually just slid onto the clip, there isn't any glue or sewing involved so it's very easy to replace the fabric part Smiley
