I was conflicted - on the one hand, it's crochet - on the other hand, it's a purse...crochet won out. Cheesy

Allow me to introduce you to my new friend.

Shot of (most) of the purse - he's kinda big, so it's kinda hard to get a good shot of all of him.

Closeup of his cute little face and ADORABLE LITTLE CURLY TENTACLES! Cheesy

Trying to take a picture of the top of his head - the ends of it curled up...does anyone know how I can fix them? Ironing, maybe?

The back, so you can see how it closes.

The back again, so you can see how it opens. Smiley

The pattern is right here, by the way: http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2821
It was modified to be a lot bigger since I wanted to be able to fit more stuff in it.

What do you think? Cheesy

EDITED to add: okay, guys, I can barely crochet a stitch, to be completely honest. I had a ton of help with this guy, including several times that I had to hand it over to the resident crochet master in my life and let them fix it. So, yeah, I made it, but not without a ton of help. I'm currently learning how to crochet something 100% on my OWN, so I'm going to consider THAT my real first crochet project. I'm really not this talented.  Sad So, full credit shouldn't be given to me, but thanks for the sweet comments.
