Hi!
I havent posted in this board from a looooong time...but here i am again!
We had a strongly rainy day the other day, and my hubby bought me a pair of green ugly shoes cause my boots were all wet. I was so happy, i could decorate a pair of shoes again! So i tinted them black, and with a little decoupage and some polymer clay accents i made this is what i came up with:

and a not very good flying action shot:

I took the skulls from a tattoo mag, a guy had them tattooed on his foot^^
The wings and stars are made from molds, but i sculpted the originals.
What do you think? Are they the ugliest thing that youve ever seen or do you like them? cause i still dont know! Grin Grin Grin
EDit: today i shot a quiqkly pic in the shop^^

I think you did a very well job on them. I would never guess they are restyled. It's not really my style but I bet a lot of girls would love to buy a pair of flying tattoo ballerina's  Grin

We all make mistakes, and then when you've made enough, they call it experience.

I would wear them! I think they look very hip! What material are the shoes? Fabric or leather? And what kind of paint/decoupage glue did you use?

They look super. What did you use over the paper cutouts to weatherproof them?

thanks everybody!!
lexi_icedrink thanks, i wish i had took a before pic but i forgot!
LizzieMcGuire I think they are fabric, but its a strange one, it seems like nobuk but theyre not...and  i used a textil glue to fix them to the shoes, and January Jones i used acrilic matte varnish to seal them^^
Bo.K i know its crazy, but i didnt realised until i did it: i used stamp ink, like chinese ink, do you know it? i had to absorb the excess with tissues for about an hour, and i wont be able to wear them if it rains! lol
babyfatchance im happy you liked them and if you do something with your shoes i want to see it!^^
