Is anyone here doing the Elizabeth Zimmerman Pi shawl knit-a-long? There is a yahoo group called EZasPi that is hosting it, but I wanted to see if any familiar names were also doing it. I am still awaiting my copy of Knitter's Almanac to start it, and I'm DEFINITELY not making it 6' across, and I haven't thought of what yarn to use... I was thinking maybe 3' across so I could put it on my table and maybe make it out of KPPPM. I've never done a real lace project before, and I'm impatient as hell, so that's why I'm reticent to make a gigantic one.

For those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, the Pi shawl gets it's name from being circular and having it's increases based on Pi. Elizabeth Zimmerman, the knitting master, thought of it and made it famous.
