I made this for some friends of mine who were just married.  They really like wine, and I thought this would be good for them to share.  It has pages for each wine, with information on the wine, the vintage, where they drank it, and the flavors.  It has envelopes for notes, and blank pages for photos and labels.  I got them some laminate label savers to go with it.

Without further ado:

I used a lot of the Martha Stewart line for decoration.  I used a resume paper to print on, and the front pages and wine-info sheets are my own composition.  I put in my favorite wine-related poem, Intoxicated by the Wine of Love, by Farid ud din Attar.

They really seemed to like it, and I hope they'll be able to make good use of it.

Wow, how cool, they will love it. I made something similar for a friend of mine last Christmas, a craft journal, but it did not look that nice. great work.

I love it! What a great gift!!! Did you make the pages of the book, what is the writing you can see in the pictures? Would you mind sharing a template if you have it? TIA!

Wish you would have been a guest at my wedding!  Grin

Thanks guys!

The writing didn't turn out clear in the photos, but it includes a little dedication and a poem by the Persian poet Attar called "Intoxicated by the wine of love."

The record pages I made myself.  They include information on the varietal, vintage, vintner and price, the place the got it, drank it, and who was with them, the body, tannin, acidity and sweetness, and then there are checklists with all the different flavors that can be in wines.

I'd be happy to share the template by request, if you swear on your craftster's honor to tell people that you got it from "this aMAZing craftstress on my favorite website."  Wink  hee hee.  Just PM me your email address.
