This is the latest purse I have made and I have to say I'm pretty proud of it!!
The material seems to be vintage by the print... and the smell Wink.
This print is definitely a favorite because it is so different from what I usually work with. I was given  about five yards of it from a very nice lady on freecycle. With the rest of the fabric, I plan to make a few other purses, a pleated skirt.
This purse has the most detail I have ever put into a purse, with a hand sewn button hole and the strap I made myself as well as four pleats. The only problem is that the button is not centered because I wanted it in the center of the flower. I don't think it's too big of a deal. Do you?

An action shot of the strap that actually fits my arm!! woohoo! I very much dislike small purses that only have a small strap, meant for holding it by hand. This is a small purse with a very comfortable and sturdy strap.

Well...hope you like it! Comments, Compliments and Critique welcome!!

thanks so much for your great compliments!
I'm really looking forward to making a big purse out of this...The print is really fun and catches the eye. I mean a lot of people might think it's tacky, but I LOVE tacky. The more eccentric the fabric and print, the more fun you can have with it!  Grin

I think the 'scrunchiness' of the purse hides the fact that it's not centered Smiley Don't worry.  Thanks for sharing

You guys are always so awesome!!
Thanks again for all of your great comments and compliments!
When I find a pattern (or think of one) for a big slouchy bag I'll definitely be posting it...I think it will be much nicer and better planned out Smiley
