I love the boxers you made. I've been wanting to make some for my boyfriend, so I picked up simplicity 9958 and I'm on my way to completing my first pattern. I was wondering if you think the pattern runs big, because I did the large and they're way too big for him. Also, any tips you have on getting the elastic through the casing would be greatly appreciated. Huh
Thanks.

I thought that the large, which is what I made, ran very close to store-bought size large.  I went ahead and used a pair of his to measure for the elastic length, though.  He likes 'em roomy, so that are too big for him, but all of his are too big for him.  Silly boy!

Also I use the safety pin trick (I use the biggest one I can find) for getting the elastic in there, but have to work at it to keep it from rolling.  It's probably the hardest thing about making them for me.  Good luck and post your finished product!
