I made this for my Mom.  This is holiday without being too Christmassy, pink without being too juvenile. I found the fabric at Walmart; the print was just what I was looking for.

A close up of the fabric and the most annoying part of the pattern... the edges of the darn bias tape.

Grrr.  As someone else mentioned about this pattern, the seam allowance of 1/4 is too much, it doesn't fit under the bias.  So, if you make this pattern, use 1/8.  Would I do it again?  Probably.  The finished products are super cute.

wow this apron pattern is getting lots of use this christmas season as I just made on these myself.

Love the color choice.  I too am not into the uber christmas aprons, even thought I had to make one.  Yours looks Christmas with the option of all year round!!

Great job!

ghilie, what type of bias tape did you use? this is the same pattern I used for faemystiques and the swap i angled for, I used double fold extra wide and it fit the seam allowance perfect and it was much easier to work with than the tiny stuff you used I'm sure! Its beautiful I bet she loved it!

Yes, I used the tiny stuff!  I liked the way it laid better than the extra wide.

And she did really like it.  She wondered where I bought it until she remembered I said I was going to make her something.
