My little boy is 3 1/2 years old and just got his new Spiderman bed and table and chairs today. He's wanting his room decorated with other Spiderman stuff. Do you have any ideas of anything that I could make? I can't paint on the white walls (landlord said no). I would love to create some sort of city skyline with twinkling lights to kinda use as a nightlight. Any ideas on anything???

Well the obvious would be the curtains and bed dressings. When you said this I first thought of a spiderweb across the ceiling, perhaps being functional as a stuffed animal net. For your city skyline, you could cutout black posterboard and put white christmas lights behind it in the "windows".

Best idea- Get a yard of spiderman and freinds fabric. Cut the charchters (sp) out and cover the backs with a little spray ashesive and slap them on the wall. They come off great when you need to take them down. I did this in my cousins rooms JUST DoNT use spray ashesive on wood. For wood use rubber cement (also renter freindly) I did my door with subway cards rubber cemented up. Looked great! A thought your sky-line idea- Do you have a oh what are they called? those saws that look like a knife, You could cut a skyline out of that foam board. Or make one out of wood with a little hang out shelf so he can display his action figures and so such.  kinda hard to decribe what I mean. Im thinking like a hinge shape. The back could be cut out to the sky line or you could go to menards (walmart... Whatever) and get decorative skyline wall paper. OH MY GOSH- I forgot to tell you the best renter secret. YOU CAN use wall paper. You can tack it up on each corner with thumb tacks. That way when it needs to come down you can just take a butter knife, pop out the tacks and the holes are microscopic. Also works with wall border. I had paris wall border in my last room this way and it worked wonders and the landlord didnt even notice the patched holes when we moved!
