Best friend: Painted shotglass, painted apron with saying "Where's my drink?"
Mom: fabric wreath, painted mug
Dad: drawing of airplane (he's a private pilot), painted mug
Grandma: Wall quilt
Grandpa: wooden letters spelling his name and decorated (inside story)
Grandma 2: painted wine glasses with polar bears and penguins
MIL: Wine glasses painted with Mickey Mouse on them (she's obsessed with MM)

I am making almost every gift for every person. I am working on at least one more thing for each person Honestly, the only person I am having trouble with is Mike's younger brother, Brian. I was going to make him a hat, but that will take too long and I'm not great at making them. I don't see him as a scarf kind of guy. He is 18 years old, a big dude and likes pro wrestling, his baby blanket, his gf and his family as well as writing poetry. They lost their father this year as well. I don't know why I am having so much trouble with him. He's like another brother to me almost. I will probably make him a rice pouch because that is my mass gift this year, but I want to do something else as well. Maybe cover a notebook in paper or such so he can write in it? Perhaps pillow? I have a bunch of square pillows that I could whip up a cover for...hm. any ideas?

A notebook was the first thing that came to my mind, but a pillow would probably be good too.

Lets see, I'm just about done with my warCRAFT gift making for Christmas this year. Here is some of what I have done. I painted a small chest to look like one in the game and lined it with cards from warcraft The Card Game. It will be filled with tiny bottles of potions and character icon magnets and small polymer key chains/charms. I even use shrinky dinks to make buttons for friends with pictures of their players. I'm currently working on a crochet totem for my husband and some fingerless mittens. Here are a couple of pictures of things I've done this past week.

Sparkling Apple Cider and Moonglow Potions (Food coloring water) for the Loot chest.


Here are the buttons and charms. Most are warcraft but Amaturasu, Pip Boy from Fall Out3 and
a polymer Chococat made it into my list.

I am half way through a horde scarf for another friend and hope to be done with everything and have it all wrapped by the end of next week.
