I'm a little late with posting this. I made the advent wreath from walnut shells, hot glued to a wreath base. Or a round cardboard circle covered with newspapers. I sprayed the whole thing silver, to hide the glue. Gold would probably have been a better choice, but I only had silver spray paint. Got the idea from a magazine.

I also sewed some gift pouches for my friends. I stenciled the big snowflakes with silver fabric paint. The green is stamping ink. That was a huge mistake - the damn thing bled too much. Now I have smudges instead of cute little green snowflakes.

The wreath is very pretty.  I liked the gift bags, too.  What kind of rubber stamps did you use?

Thanks, guys!

Tucsonteresa, I used a paper puncher to get the little snowflake shape, and then I dabbed a sponge in the ink pad, and used the ink basically as stencil paint. I didn't use a stamp.
