hey, if you were doing them on converse or any other conversed shoes, do you think it would work to scan the pictures, then print them on iron-on paper?? I'm thinking that this is an awesome project....

Maybe Golden Artist Colors has a medium that dries clear and with a flexible film surface. If I were going to do this project I would try the GAC 100, (a polymer film).

i decoupaged some shoes not too long ago, and after i was done i sealed them with 4 layers of clear acrylic spray paint. so far so good, but i don't wear them in the rain so i don't know exactly how waterproof they are. anyway, for those who are asking, you might try to seal with spray paint...
