I don't know if this is the right forum, but I recently made a couple gifts for a friend who has a baby girl, and I think they would make great baby shower gifts!
First I made her a custom bow holder to match her nursery. The idea is to clip hair bows onto the ribbon. Here is the first one I made using this idea, although it is not very attractive at all...it was my "tester"

She has a flower fairy theme in her nursery, with characters from the books by CM Barton. I decoupaged a few of the fairies on the letter, and I attached the long ribbon to it. I also painted one of these really gaudy butterfly charms I found at the craft store with fabric paint to match. To weigh down the ribbon, I made a rose out of polymer clay, which I then painted to match the letter.
Any comments are welcome! Let me know what you think, this is the first time I've done a project like this (normally I do clothing) and I had so much fun with it!
