I am going to raid the little recycling bin in my dept. (company does not recycle so we must do it ourselves!) and make these for my caffiene-obsessed co-worker!

Are the edges of the star sharp?

i'm guessing so.  i wonder if puffyl paint on the edges would stay and make them safe to handle?
