I made this hat from Rheatheylia's pattern, here, using Vanna's Choice yarn.

The pattern was really easy to follow, and it was my first time crocheting anything with cables, so I was excited at how they turned out Smiley

It turned out a little small for my head - that is, it stretches fit over my head comfortably, but then it wants to stretch back, so I had little crochet ribbing marks on my forehead after a few minutes of wearing it.  I'll have to find someone with a small head who really likes yellow to give it to, I guess Tongue

Also, (isn't this always the way of it?) I actually started this in the mustard color to get rid of some yarn from my stash, and then I had to buy a new skein to finish it.  Maybe I'll make a whooooole lot of daffodils or something next time.

Oh beautiful! One of my goals is to learn to cable... knitting crocheting or whatever.... If you don't mind, could you repost the pattern? The link seems to be broken...

Love the color! I love Rheatheylia's tutorials. I made one like this last week, and I'm thinking about making another. Smiley

Wow -- I didn't know we could cable using crochet! I'm excited to try it. When I first saw the picture, I thought it was a misplaced knit posting Smiley
