I am making a Sheldon family for my niece and nephews and I just finished the darling girl version, Sheldina!

This is from the knitty pattern, Sheldon.  I used knitpicks shine sport in blush and orchid.  I originally planned to put a bow on her head, but since her eyes are on top there was really nowhere to put it without it looking very stupid.  I am toying around with the idea of making her a little pearl necklace or something, but I worry that might not be child safe.  If anyone has thoughts on that or a possible child-safe accessory I'm all ears!

Here is a link to my blog post on her if you want more info on technical specs and whatnot: http://spicyknitter.blogspot.com/2007/11/fo-sheldina.html

This is the second in my Sheldon series and I have to say that I love the FO, but kniting them up is not exactly fun.  There is just so much tedious assembly work!  I keep telling myself it is good practice, and some day I might not hate finishing so much if I find it easier.  Next up is the little boy version - Sheldino!

Adorable! Are Sheldon and Sheldina going to have babies?

I have the pattern and the yarn, but have yet to do anything with it. I think I might start mine tonight! Thanks for the inspiration!
