I noticed South Bay, North Bay, East Bay, and lots of SF. What about us Peninsula craftsters?

There's got to be someone else out there.

By the way, a friend keeps insisting that there is a fabric shop in downtown Redwood City, but I just can't seem to locate it. Is it still there?

I dunno about Redwood City proper. There's a Jo-Anne's right off Veteran's Blvd between Whipple and Woodside. Does that help?
I'm not on the Peninsula, but I'm right across the bay. Smiley

I know about the Jo-Annes.
She says that there is a fabric shop downtown.
Also, for anyone else who might be looking, I just passed by a new quilter's shop on Laurel St. in San Carlos, right behind Trader Joe's (what used to be Lyon's). There is also a children's art studio next door to it. It's weird, because the children's art studio used to be my high school.

Hi!  I live in Palo Alto.  I don't know Redwood City that well, but I did a search, and found a couple of things: http://local.sanfrancisco.com/Redwood+City/Fabric+Shops.zq.html

Maybe you're looking for Adams Notions and Yardage?

Anyway, thought I'd say hi as a Peninsual person even if I didn't know your answer for sure.

Thanks pez, that looks like a great little shop!  I'll have to stop by if I'm up that way.

Hi, I'm in San Carlos.  There seems to be two quilting shops on Laurel St now.  There is also a bead shop, a scrapbook shop, and a paint your own pottery shop too.  I saw the art studio place recently too but I couldn't really figure it out.  Anyway, so many crafty places on one street is It's pretty good for such a small city actually.

Also I remember a fabric store in Downtown Redwood City back in the 80 but that's a long-ass time ago even for an old lady like me!
