Here is a teal wool skirt I made for the fall/winter (I'm in Minneapolis so it gets chilly).

The skirt has pockets, is lined and has double top stitching at the hem.

The skirt seemed a little blah so I used the same stencil as for the blue suede jacket and thought, "What the heck?"

I painting the stencil I used fabric paint and dabbed it on so it would intentionally be sparse in some places (liking fading wallpaper) and then added a very faint sprinkling of microfine glitter to give it just a touch shine and shimmer.   Cheesy

wow I really like it, nice detail! Smiley
I really like the length, I've been kinda thinking about making a skirt, but couldn't think of a good design. you've actually inspired me to go make a skirt, similar to yours too!

That is just beautiful!  I love teal and I love heavy, cozy wintery type clothing.  The stenciling detail is very nice as well.  Wonderful job on your skirt:)

OMW! Love it!! You do such great stuff, I'm totally going to make one, but I'm thinking more of a burgundy maybe..  it gets cold here in Maine too!! How does it close, an invisible zipper?

That's pretty. I like the fit of it and the stencil is a great touch.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.
