I actually made this last summer, but couldn't figure out picture hosting:

I cannot draw to save my life, so it was quite the process.  I found these images online, blew them up, and then traced the black outlines onto thin, white fabric (muslin?).  Then, using acrylic paint mixed with fabric paint, I painted in the lines, and then did touch ups with black fabric marker.

Then, I cut out the circles (I believe they were 13") and laminated them at Kinko's, which was slightly disastrous because it got a little crinkled (hence, Paul).  But I ironed it out as best I could, and then glued the circles onto a yellow shower curtain I got at Kohl's and painted in the red circles.

It's in my guest bathroom, so I never use the shower, which may be why it's held up so well, but it seems to be fairly sturdy.

I hope that wasn't too long-winded... this is my first posted project, even though I have been been obsessively browsing Craftster for 2-3 years now.  I'm glad I can finally contribute!!

I actually got my idea from Craftster.  I was looking for something to do for a shower curtain, and I was just randomly browsing Craftster, as I always do, and someone had posted a Yellow Submarine pillow or shirt or something, and the wheels just started turning, and here we are!! So it was my idea, but it was definitely inspired by all of you!

That is amazing!  Grin

I am so jealous. I want this in my bathroom right now.

Though a funny thought just entered my head... where is your toilet located in relation to the curtain?  Cheesy

That is an odd thought, but there is no judgment here.

If you are facing the sink in this picture, the toilet is to the right of the sink.  I am pretty much standing next to it when taking this picture.
