Any way, these are made from a pattern called the Lantern Bag by four winds patterns.  I can provide a link to where to buy it if anybody is interested.  The name comes from the pleats in Paper Lanterns.

Each bag took me probably about three hours.  I am pretty happy with how they turned out.  They are fully lined.  The outer gusset is interfaced with Pellon fusible fleece which is BY FAR the most pleasant interfacing to work with for bags.  The rest is interfaced with Fuse-A-Shade, which I would not recommend for bags, but for some reason I bought 12 yards at a discount just before I quit my job at a fabric store.

Taking pictures of things you make is so great when you actually take the time to set it up!  Feedback?

They're spectacular!
I love the pleats, they're so different, and the fabrics are all absolutely great. Wow.

where did you find the fabric?

I used to work at a local fabric store.  I got most of the fabric there.  Some of the accent fabric was bought from joanns.  I usually try to support local business and don't shop there but I try to be a little economical because i am selling these/have sold them.

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!
