this website was my inspiration

http://www.geocities.com/pcpiecers/galaxystar.html

I used auto cad to resize and print all of my foundation papers.
I also tie died the backing.
I am really, really happy with the piecing of my quilt; but I wish I had spent more time on the quilting.
I learned a lot and i am excited to make more quilts.

I really love stars ... this is a great pattern. Fantastic job with the nice pointy tips!

I never thought of using AutoCad to resize patterns ... DH is a designer who uses ACII and SolidWorks at work ... maybe I can get him to 3D a pattern for me!  Grin

I love your colour choice! The stars really seem to jump right off the quilt at you. At first I thought it was 3-d or something because they are so great. Good work. Lovely piecing, too.

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.
