These came out SO adorable. I traced a 2" tall picture of Hello Kitty onto Shrinky Dink paper several times, colored them, cut them out, baked, and super-glued them onto flat thumbtacks. It doesn't get any easier! Or any cuter!

those are adorable! when you pull them out of the cork board, do the hello kitties come off of the tacks? (I've had problems with superglue)

I would like to know more about shrinky paper also. I've seen some cute stuff made with it (these are my fave so far!), but I don't know that I've ever seen such stuff. You just draw on it and then it shrinks?

Well, anyway, these are some cute tacks and I think my bulletin board is quite jealous!

I was worried about that, but they have stayed stuck together very well. I used this gel type super-glue, if it makes any difference. I've been twisting them out of the cork pretty carefully though, just in case.

Truth be told, it was in a pile of old craft supplies in my basement, I must have bought it five years ago. But I believe I originally found it at Hobby Lobby. All you do is draw on the shrinky paper, cut out the picture, and put it in the oven for a minute or two. It shrinks to about 1/3 the original size. And thanks everyone for the compliments!

These are ingenious! XD If I had the time, and uhhh..a cork board (I should get one of those, really) I would totally make my own tack designs.
