Has anyone made any book ends?  I have some ideas in mind for a traditional, classic style but am wondering what might (or might not) be here at Crafster.  Ideas, projects, anyone?

I use all of my mom's empty wine bottles as bookends.
You could paint them, or collage them, or fill the clear kind with colored water.
They look really neat once your done.

I found some rocks by the lake the other day, I think they're quartz.. or they're just shiny like them,
I cleaned them off and I'm going to put some felt on the bottom(so they don't scratch the furniture) and use those as bookends for the heavier books.
(I have ALOT of books, because I'm homeschooled.. and a bookworm Smiley)
