Thanks Jane and Sweets!  Am practicing and developing a way to do a make and take at a local history days event.  So for now these will just be for show and tell.

I have been looking for a way to use my lambswool i sheared but is too short to spin! This is great! Does anyone felt beads from start to finish? I dont know at which stage you dye the fibers...Anyone?

You could either dye your fiber before felting,
or dye your felted beads after felting.

It's all up to you and your preference  Smiley

I'm sure that this has been posted a lot, but still: Thanks for creating this tutorial! Before, I thought you had to needle felt beads.  Tongue I made one that way, but this way looks to be much faster. I'm going to try this way tomorrow!

I know needle-felting seems to be more popular atm, but I can't go past wet felting.
I just love primal simplicity of wool + water + soap = felt
