I don't know why I just found this now, but I love it! My friend just had a baby, so I'm going to make one for the kids' room. How are you mounting the thinner letters to the wall?

I just used some of that foam mounting tape stuff.  The kind that's intended for posters?  It worked really well.  Have fun making your letters!

I've had this post bookmarked for a LONG time. But now I finally found a reason to make some letters! We're having a little boy, who's due in September. And the crafting has begun! Expect some finished room pics in late July!

So here's what I did: (btw, I used a different kind of sealer that said "clear satin finish," so my letters aren't really shiny like in the tute)

Here's what I made...I actually made some for my other two nieces, but I can't seem to track down the photos at this moment!  I used white finished letters that I found at Michael's and then added ribbon tacked on the back for a cute flair/ease of hanging.  Thanks for the inspiration!

What exactly does the clear sealer do that the mod podge gloss doesnt do?

I'm just trying to figure out if I really need that to complete this project. I'm doing my SIL's babys name, Tatum,  for her baby shower next saturday.

Really love these letters. Maybe a good way to use scrapbook paper I've bought 'cos it's pretty, but can't bear to use!
