There are some fingerless mitts I made for my friend Ruby-- she speaks French and is an avid photographer, so I thought she needed some mitts that she can take pictures in!   Smiley

My friend Brianne likes wearing scarves, but she's constantly dragging them through paint and stuff, so she gets a funky buttoning neckwarmer.  I looooove this yarn, I had it left over from making a dread tam (which I wear despite my lack of dreads) .

There it is on my dressmaker's model, but the color shows up better in this one :

Thanks for looking! Smiley

My mom just got me some of that black yarn you used for the neckwarmer. That's exactly what I was thinking I'd use it for, but for myself cuz I'm greedy like that. Smiley I have a ball of that black and a ball of white, both with the tuffts of neon colors. I love the fingerless mitts.

That's such a good idea with the mitts, I bet they'll come in handy... Wink.

Great work!

Awwww, thanks so much everyone!!! This was my first project post, I'm so glad it was received so well!  I meant to say what the basic mitten pattern was, because it's a really nice pattern, so here it is:  http://knitandplenty.typepad.com/photos/free_patterns/fast_fingerless.html

I just added the words with tapestry yarn in a split stitch.  That part was surprisingly easy, considering I've never done any embroidering before  Smiley  It was just like writing really, really slowly.  And yeah, that button is really huge.   Cheesy  Thanks everyone!
