Hi,

I'm interested to find out if anyone knows where I can donate cards. I've been on the receiving end of snippy comments from volunteers at local Goodwills and other thrift/charity stores in the DC area that they are no longer accepting cards of any kind as well as office/desk supplies such as magazine holders and the like because they can't 'sell' those. Never mind that they're more than willing to set up counters of unsold merchandise from retail stores such as Target..(sorry, just a pet peeve of mine)...

In any case, I have printed cards (not crafted) that I know I will never use. Does anyone know of any organization willing to accept these? I will gladly pay postage to get rid of them.

Thanks.

I don't know why I didn't think of that when it's obvious I should have asked a friend who's a teacher. Thanks for the suggestion.

I was also going to suggest sending them to a military office... a school would be a fantastic idea. One time my teacher had us copy a picture from greeting cards, and then make up a memory that the cards "reminded" us of... the whole thing was fiction based. And it was fun =)
