Make one! I needed a bust or something to model hats for me, but I am broke broke broke. So I used a plastic mask form, a balloon and some rigid wrap. The neck is paper plates and fabric and it's painted with acrylic paint. I love it!!!

I like it.  I use a styrofoam head that I bought at a beauty supply shop for about $5, but yours looks cooler.

That looks awesome! Cheesy I know that I have a plastic mask around here somewhere so I think I might have to try my hand at making one some time in the near future...

Hmm, that's very creative if I do say so myself.  How long do you suppose that took to make?   Huh  With school and work full time (burning at both ends here!) I'm finding myself steadily impatient with 30+ min crafts. heh  But I'd like to try this for a craft fair table (to make several of them for all the hats).

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

Wow-I think this rocks!! I would love to make a series of them with painted features to display my collection of vintage hats! When you say rigid wrap-what does that mean Huh Tongue
