Hullo all:) I've been much too busy lately to sew much, but I took the time to finish this beach dress to wear to Zoukout07(which was a blast by the way). I fell in love with this fabric the moment I laid eyes on it! I do have a penchant for bright rainbow dresses don't I Tongue Anyway, it was $15/m, which was much more than I'd usually pay for fabric. But I just had to make it mine, and so I did. The pattern is a from-scratcher, and I stuck to a very simple design that wouldn't look overwhelming combined with the fabric itself.
Here it is:

Excuse the caught-off-guard face and out of focus shots!

This is one dress I'd wear every single day if I could get away with it Cheesy

Comments/criticism welcome... cheeriooooo all

I really love the style, and the fabric is AWESOME! You model it well, too. I've always wanted a dress like that.

If I had your legs, I'd make one just like it in every fabric I have (and that's a LOT).  It is so adorable!

Oh gosh dang every time you post I'm like, that girl is adorable. We should be BFFs.

Anyway, that design is so perfect for the fabric, and your body type. I wish it was warm again here so I could wear dresses again!

I love it! I've always loved dresses or tops in that style, and one day I hope I can make one myself. How hard was it on the scale of 1 to 10 (hard)?

The fabric is an amazing choice too. Do you live in singapore? (random question i know)
