I use dress makers carbon or just plain old graphite paper depending on the fabric. Sometimes a few lines won't transfer, but then I just grab the gel pen stash and draw them on. I found that the gel pen stuff washes out of fabric really well after you have stitched.

tape the image onto the window, tape the fabric onto the window over the image and trace with pencil!

This is exactly what I do! Bit difficult if you're transferring to denim though!  Wink
You just have to wait for the sun to come through at the right angle, you know, two o'clockish...  ;)haha
