I have been stalking poppet posts for a while.  I would love to make clothes and accessories in exchange for a poppet, i'm already drafting pattern ideas!  I've never written patterns before and this could be a great place to start, since everything is small and relatively simple.  Aww, I just thought of doing a poppet afghan!  or Quilt!  Sign me up!  I have a feeling I am going to max myself out again on swaps.

hehe, I just read through all 10 pages. I'm glad I didn't miss it. It will be my first swap.

I have supplies to swap and I can make a poppet for someone.

I though I read every post in the poppet-a-long. I must have missed a page. It seems like each day I sign on there are a few more pages to read.

i had a thought... what do you think about this?
let's say someone wants to swap for finished items but they also have some supplies. if the best partner for them for finished items doesn't have supplies to swap or the best partner for them with supplies doesn't want to swap finished items or isn't making something compatible what about giving people two partners? or, for this first swap, should we keep it really simple and you sign up for one or the other and you and your partner talk about extras between the two of you?

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

I think this is a great idea. Now to just finish my Poppet in time for the swap.
