My Signature Recycled Bag

Here is my latest recycled pattern to share with you all here.

It's crocheted using plastic grocery bags and crafted into a tote bag. I added a Christmas decoration to spice it up. It would be a wonderful gift idea for someone who needs a tote bag. Here is the free pattern link for anyone who wants to make this. http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2007/12/02/recycled-grocery-tote-bag/

So if you have those pesky plastic bags laying around, get them out and make a cool eco-friendly tote bag this holiday. Enjoy and Merry Christmas everyone !

That's a great idea.  I have a thought that could perhaps expand on this -- how about a plastic grocery bag holder made in the same manner as your tote bag?  You know, the kind that you drape on a door handle and shove the plastic bags into...  like this type of bag: http://i3.ebayimg.com/07/i/000/82/c6/b336_1_sbl.JPG

That'd be really recycling.

I have actually made one of those too.
Here's my version of a plastic bag keeper using recycled plastic bags to crochet it. I have written up the pattern here http://www.myrecycledbags.com/2007/04/04/crocheted-plastic-bag-keeper-from-recycled-bags/ and it's free if you'd like to try it.

I've always loved the plastic bags, they would be so great to take to the grocery store!
