I love how these came out ... They were easy and quick, especially the second one! They're the first thing I made from the book.
They're for my Mom for Christmas, because she always seems to be working, and it makes her grumpy.  Tongue
I still need to add ribbon, but besides that, everything else was from my stash. Nice!

Wow, I like them. I just got my first Amy Butler Material on Wednesday. I am making 4 purses out of it. My Aunt bought the material and the In Stiches Book.  Well anyway I love em they look great.

i really like these*  did u have to do the measurements urself?  because i have the travel bag pattern which called 4 me to make pattern measurements which is so time consuming*

No, the pattern pieces are included in the book. For some of the other patterns you have to measure parts yourself, but they're just squares and rectangles, so it's not terribly difficult.

I love Amy Butler's fabrics, but I have never actually bought any or sewed with them. That's a great gift!

i went to a fabric store here in NoCal called Stone Mountain*  i purchased my 1st of many Amy Butler fabrics*  the fabric is a bit expensive but i did find 1 bolt for half off regular price 19.00 purchase price 9.50*  i am gonna make me a handbag or sell it*
