I almost can't believe it. I'm calling it the "Not Quite My Cherie Amour Sweater" cause I used the my cherie amout pattern from Knitty and I did this funky thing with my yo's that caused the holes to be smaller and the pattern to be tighter, but I love it!!! This is the first thing other than a scarf that I've ever knit. I usually just crochet. I'm so excited!!! can u tell? Wink

Go team sweater! The stitching looks beautiful, excellent work! Smiley Who cares if it's not exact to the pattern? I always find little things that can go wrong add to the character of the knit, and make it yours.

Super kudos because sweaters take forever ... I'm working on my first one, but I'm almost done!

Your sweater looks great! What kind of yarn did you use? I've knit a few clothing pieces (other then socks) and they've all failed horribly, so thanks for the inspiration!

Mienna it's just black red heart yarn. I wasn't sure if I was gonna be able to pull it off, so I decided not to spend a ton on really super nice yarn.
